On the 25th, 26th and 27th of May 2011 and under the name FESABID, the 12th Spanish Documentation Conference together with the EBLIDA-NAPLE Conference 2011 (held in Spain for the first time) and the 16th Library Conference of Andalusia will all take place in Malaga.
FESABID 2011 will be the stage for meetings and interaction between leading professionals from libraries, archives, information and documentation, on a local, national and international level.
Three events in one, which, under the subject “One profession, one future”, will debate the great challenges of the profession and shape the trends for the coming years. An exceptional congress for all information and documentation professionals that would like to witness and participate actively in this development.

- 3 general assemblies held by the associations with the most influence on a local, national and european level.

- 900 professionals will meet in the Fairs and Congress Palace in Malaga for three days.
The Spanish Federation of Archivistic, Biblioteconomy, Documentation and Museum Societies (FESABID), the European Bureau of Library, Information and Documentation Associations (EBLIDA), National Authorities on Public Libraries in Europe (NAPLE Forum) and the Andalusian Association of Librarians are working together so that FESABID 2011 becomes the largest meeting between information and documentation professionals ever held in Andalusia.
